Meet Charmaine

Charmaine Crutchfield is an impact leader, advisor, and creative storyteller from Virginia, whose work sits at the intersection of media, entertainment, and impact. A Howard University alumna, she brings a grounding in journalism and politics to every chapter of her career.

Her professional path has taken her from the halls of government to global media and entertainment platforms, with a consistent focus on social impact, partnerships, and public engagement. Early in her career, Charmaine covered stories at the White House and worked in the Office of Presidential Correspondence during the Obama–Biden Administration, supporting community engagement initiatives. She went on to work across public policy and civic institutions such as Capitol Hill, the Brookings Institution, and C-SPAN, deepening her understanding of how policy, media, and public trust intersect.

Now in music and entertainment, Charmaine creates meaningful experiences through storytelling, social and community impact, partnerships, corporate affairs, and philanthropy. With more than 10 years of experience in communications serving as the connective tissue across this work, she supports moments of visibility and influence where clarity and credibility matter most. Through this approach, Charmaine has helped drive change that has earned meaningful press coverage and strengthened organizational trust.

Charmaine currently lives in New York, where she continues to shape work at the intersection of culture, creativity, and responsibility. When she’s not focused on impact-driven initiatives, she’s often exploring her next creative project—guided by a belief that thoughtful storytelling can move people, institutions, and culture forward.

“I believe the most meaningful work sits at the intersection of culture, purpose, and creating real social impact.” Charmaine Crutchfield
